E CITY is pleased to have a new partner in entrepreneurship education- East High School!
We thank Small School Principal, Gerard Leslie, for inviting us to introduce the E CITY program to his students (Institute of Business and Law), and to Andre Haynes, East High teacher, who was eager to obtain the Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher training so that he could lead the class.

This program was also new in that it was taught during the school day, instead of after school. The business plan competition and graduation was held on January 24. We congratulate the following student winners:
1st place, $150 - Aamina Jenkins for “Fragrant Candles”
2nd place, $100 - Brittany Boyd for Brittany’s Creative Cakes and Catering
3rd place, $50 - Courtney Branch for “Courtney’s Landscaping”
