E CITY and Jane Addams Business Careers Center have teamed up to offer an entrepreneurship program at the high school. The teacher, Tanisha Jackson-Long is no stranger to the E CITY program. Having taught the Washington Park program in the summer of 2003, Tanisha was excited to bring the program to her marketing students. The E CITY program began on February 2, 2004 and ended with a business plan competition and 14 student who graduated on March 19, 2004. The students participating in the program had the unique opportunity to apply what they have already learned in their marketing class to their business.
