Peg Zitzner has taught and tutored for many years in the greater Cleveland area schools. She has a BA in Elementary Education from Wittenberg University and a Masters of Education with a concentration in computers from John Carroll University.
She has worked with students from preschool through high school. Along with teaching in the schools she also was involved in the installation and daily running of the school's network and computers.
In the years when Peg wasn't working in schools she worked for Bradley Company, a Cleveland software development firm. At Bradley, her focus was on quality assurance, documentation and database management. Peg is E CITY’s webmaster, IT specialist, administrator and Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher.
In January 2003, Peg taught the E CITY program at YO! Cleveland. The classes concluded April 16 with 6 class members presenting their individual business plans in the first E CITY - YO! Cleveland business plan competition.
In June, Peg attended NFTE University to receive advanced training. In July 2003, she taught the second E CITY - YO! program. This class ended with 8 students presenting business plans.
Peg is currently teaching the third E CITY - YO! Cleveland class. This class will conclude on May 19 with a business plan competition.
